We offer five worship services every Sunday:
A typical worship service at Aldersgate United Methodist church may include a greeting and opening call to worship, time for people to greet each other, scripture readings, silent prayer and meditation, an offering, responsive readings, the Lord’s Prayer, a children’s message, the sermon, special music and hymns, and a closing benediction. Words to the hymns and congregational responses are displayed on a projection screen above the altar, or you may refer to hymns by number in the United Methodist Hymnal.

The Sacrament of Holy Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of every month. Communion elements consist of bread and grape juice, and gluten-free bread is provided for persons with gluten allergies.
Baptism is sometimes celebrated at a worship service. (See the pastor for information about baptism)
We offer both contemporary and traditional worship services to accommodate the preferences of a diverse congregation.
Join us Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m. for a contemporary, informal, and uplifting worship experience that speaks directly to the heart through modern music. The MorningSong Praise Band offers songs that lift the soul in praise and thanksgiving. Music selections include current songs of praise and traditional hymns.
Join us at 11:05 a.m. for a traditional service featuring traditional music, responsive readings, The Lord’s Prayer, the Apostle’s Creed, etc. The Chancel Choir, soloists, and our talented pianists offer beautiful anthems and special selections each Sunday. The Youth Choir and Joyful Voices Children’s Choir, and the Orchestra provide music on special occasions.
